Michael Kroeger, BHS, CNMT, PET, NCT, RT(N)
Michael Kroeger, BHS, CNMT, PET, NCT, RT(N) joins the ICANL representing the Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist Section. Since 2003 he has served as the Director of Positron Emission Tomography and Nuclear Medicine Imaging Services at Radiology Associates, LLP in Corpus Christi, TX. Responsibilities include assisting in the initial development of the PET Department, managing daily operations, marketing and educating referring physicians and staff, and keeping physician partners aware of new trends and techniques in PET and Nuclear Medicine. |
In 1991 Mr. Kroeger earned the Bachelor of Health Science with an emphasis in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Missouri, where he also served as President of the School of Health Related Professions Student Council and was named the Mallinckrodt Most Outstanding Student upon graduation. A member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and the SNMTS since 1991, Mr. Kroeger is active in the Southwest Chapter Society of Nuclear Medicine, currently serving as Secretary and as a member of the finance committee. Other membership includes the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Mr. Kroeger is an active member of the Del Mar College Nuclear Medicine Technology Advisory Board and previously led the Board as the inaugural Chairman. Mr. Kroeger also has previous experience supervising hospital-based nuclear medicine departments and an outpatient nuclear cardiology department, as well as ownership of a nuclear medicine management and staffing company. In addition to the Board of Directors, Mr. Kroeger serves the ICANL as a site visitor and application reviewer.

Jerold W. Wallis, MD
Jerold W. Wallis, MD joins the ICANL as a representative of the Society of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Wallis is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine. In addition to his active role on the clinical staff of the Division of Nuclear Medicine, he also coordinates the computer operations of the division. Dr. Wallis received his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine, and received a master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford as well. |
Dr. Wallis subsequently trained at the University of Michigan Hospitals, where he completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine. Having a particular interest in computer applications in Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Wallis developed the technique of maximum density projection (MIP) that is used in most Nuclear Medicine and PET centers today. He has co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts, invited articles, and book chapters. Dr. Wallis also serves as the SNM representative to the IHE, an organization devoted to enhancing interoperability between vendors in radiology and medicine.

Mary Dalipaj, PhD, CNMT, NCT, MRT(N) joins the ICANL representing the Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist Section.
